A person cannot learn to be creatively artistic. You either HAVE it or do not. It's a talent, unlike a skill that can be practiced and learned.

My blog title states..."be creative, innovate, take risks, unlearn to learn..." These are hard to teach. I want the students to take charge of their learning, ask questions, draw from what they know and experiene. Recently I presented a project and a few students in one of my classes thought it as "silly". I revised it and I gave them the credit.
