Look at how many issues we are having with just us. Imagine the issues of trying to get 25 students all doing this correctly.

Transition into using classroom technology is like today - full of good things to do but NO TIME to implement them correctly.

Money, time, training.

Fear of failing with the new. Failing with the old standby is more comfortable than failing with an approach that I don't know well.

Our classroom computers are out of date which makes it difficult to keep up with technology demands. Plus we don't have enough computers for everyone.

Many people are afraid of trying anything new and unknown.

There is a certain amount of lag-time for the teacher to learn the process before they can implement them into their classroom and use them on a regular basis.

As with anything change is slow. People get into routines and they stick with what they know and what works and what is available to them. It takes thinking out of the box to get things to change. But you need the resources and the people to make these changes. I believe the resources is what makes it difficult in this day and age. Also, it's hard to get everyone to be on the same page and do things all together.

You can't teach too many old dogs too many new technology tricks.

Not enough funding to keep up with technology.

To play devil's advocate, why do we always think that our students need to be in the same place at the same time?

Lack of follow up after professional development.
